🚚 The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive efficient and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe, roadworthy and compliant
- Arrive at jobs on time and communicate any issues promptly with the Traffic Office
- Adhere to all company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
- Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections accurately
- Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
- Keep your vehicle clean, presentable and well-maintained
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the Kinaxia brand
✅ What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
- A current Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience operating double-deck trailers
- Experience with container work (docks-compliant drivers are highly desirable)
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- A commitment to safety, compliance and professionalism
