Kinaxia Logistics & Fulfilment are recruiting a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their team. The role of the Shift Manager will be to support the the Warehouse Manager in all aspects of warehouse shift management including the warehouse facility, customer satisfaction, cost control/profit, health and safety and compliance.

About the job:
  • Manage staffing levels effectively to ensure enough resource is available to maintain the day to day operations;
  • Manage the warehouse shift team to ensure they operate in accordance with the agreed warehouse procedures, have the relevant training and certificates to ensure the operation is Health and Safety compliant;
  • Arrange shift team meetings at the start of each shift to communicate the workload through the department on a day to day basis ensuring all deadlines and targets are met to specific standards;
  • Generate and share reports about team performance, mission-related objectives and deadlines to encourage commitment and engagement;
  • Assist on the creation of a culture of continuous improvement and work with the senior management team to communicate any areas of concern or improvements identified to ensure that the most efficient and effective operation is being maintained at all times;
  • Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly to ensure high levels of customer service are being delivered;
  • Operate high standards of general housekeeping in order to maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times and comply with any specific customer requirements.
