Kinaxia are looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager to join their team in Eastleigh. The role of the Warehouse Manager will be to manage all aspects of the warehouse operations including financial, operational and people management, providing leadership and direction to ensure the profitable development and growth of the client/s, ensuring all legal and HSE requirements are met and company policies and procedures are adhered to.

Job Role:
- Have a full understanding of the client contract and SLAs in order to deliver a fully compliant service meeting all client expectations.
- Support the preparation and submit annual budgets covering all aspects of the warehouse operation including all fixed and variable costs, reporting on a monthly basis of financial performance against budget.
- Lead, develop, appraise and motivate staff to create a workforce with the relevant skill set, where potential is identified and developed, effective succession plans are in place and employees are contributing to the overall success of the contract.
- Communicate and implement policies and procedures as cascaded by the Company, to ensure all Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality regulations and guidelines are complied with.
- Consistently analyse current processes and procedures, implementing continuous improvement, to drive compliance and efficiency.
- Monitor all aspects of stock integrity, order fulfillment, re-work and administration, ensuring your team manage and undertake all related activities, in a cost effective and efficient manner, to meet the standards of the specified contracts.
- Set individual and departmental targets to all areas of the operation ensuring the efficient performance of all aspects of the business.
- Take ownership of the culture, morale, communication, behaviour and health and safety of all individuals within the warehouse operations to ensure a harmonious, positive and safe working environment for all.
- Conduct regular reviews and appraisals with direct reports to offer guidance and support and identify areas where improvements can be made.
- Lead the Warehouse Management System operation, liaising with colleagues and the IT department, to ensure full utilization.
- Overall responsibility for all stages of the employee lifecycle, actively participating in formal stages where necessary, up to and including dismissals, to ensure all employee relation matters are dealt with effectively.
- Monitor operational activity, to ensure the company retains all of it’s accreditations, identifying further accreditation opportunities wherever possible.
- Regularly brief all warehouse staff in relation to financial and operational performance to ensure a wide understanding of the contract and individual and collective performance.
- Lead all internal audits within the warehouse operations to ensure legal requirements and improving standards are met and attained.
- Be the principal point of contact and escalation into all matters relating to the current client contracts.
