📦 About the Role

As a Counterbalance Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Loading and unloading pallets from vehicles

🔹 Off-loading incoming goods into the warehouse

🔹 Reviewing goods-in paperwork and checking collections

🔹 Comparing notes and locations to ensure the correct items are selected for dispatch

🔹 Unloading goods into storage locations

🔹 Allocating pallets into warehouse racking safely and accurately

🔹 Completing warehouse and stock location documentation

🔹 Wrapping pallets ready for storage and distribution

🔹 Maintaining safe working practices and excellent housekeeping standards

👤 What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

✔ Valid UK/EU Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance)

✔ Previous experience operating a Forklift Truck within a warehouse environment

✔ Confident loading and unloading a variety of vehicle types

✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

✔ Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

✔ Experience using scanning equipment

✔ Good IT literacy skills

✔ Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
